Tutu Saturday
Today has turned into Tutu Saturday!
Inspired by Jorth’s recent tutu tutorial, I brought some tulle at Rathdowne Fabrics this morning and got to work this afternoon with the aim of making two tutus for Miss B’s kinder. It was impossible to make a tutu in this house without getting a request from each of my daughters, so two quickly became four.
Tutu one is finished. It was road-tested by Miss A and this two-toned purple tutu passed with flying colours.
It’s good for dancing…
for ballet…
for yoga…
and for twirling.
Now I’m off to make three more…
This is very sweet & looks so easy!!
It is easy. The worse of it is cutting the tulle… even with a rotary cutter and self healing mat. All four made now so back to my selfish sewing…
This is versatile for a young girl’s hectic day!
Absolutely! 🙂
