One, two and a third on the go…

One, two and a third on the go… but who’s counting?
I’ve been giving my Alexa T-Top Pattern, which is the perfect layering top for me, a workout. I’ve made two more versions and there is another one cut out. You can’t deny that I’m getting my $ worth!
Pattern: Tessuti’s Alexa T-Top Pattern
Size: S in the shoulders, bust and hips and graded to a M in the waist. I added one inch to the bottom hem. I think I need to shorten the sleeves!
Fabric: Madagascar Stripe from Tessuti (on sale!)
Alterations: Grading from a S to a M in the waist
I’ve been wearing this top under my Kirsten Dress (see below) and with these Antia Ponti Pants.
Pattern: Tessuti’s Alexa T-Top Pattern
Size: S in the shoulders, bust and hips and graded to a M in the waist. 3/4 sleeves.
Fabric: Viscose/Elastane jersey from The Cloth Shop
Alterations: Grading from a S to a M in the waist
I’m not done with this pattern yet. Do you have a ‘go to’ long sleeve top pattern that you can’t live without? Do tell…
Love the Madagascar Stripe! I have too many patterns I can’t live without….
So do I and I don’t think it’s a bad thing!
I went and bought this pattern on your recommendation and have a few fabrics ready to go (washed them this weekend). Looks like a great basic pattern. I have a Tshirt pattern that I use loads (six times so far): Simplicity 3759 that I bought off ebay OOP. It’s brilliant! And only cost me around $5.00.
I love it when you find a pattern that just works for you. Here’s hoping the Alexa T-Top is one of those pattern for you 🙂
