Bordering on obsessed

This top combines a few of my healthy obsessions.  In no particular order… sewing (yeah that was a given), Nani Iro, Paper Theory’s Kabuki Tee and the colour mustard!

Paper Theory’s Kabuki Tee was the perfect pattern to showcase this stunning light-weight Nani Iro linen.  I sewed this top as a sample (in my size of course!) for The Cloth Shop last July.

I’m not the only one who has paired this pattern/fabric combo… and just for the record, I only discovered Hillary’s Instagram feed after I sewed this top, but I’m happy to twin with her anytime as she makes gorgeous clothes and quilts.

This is my second Kabuki Tee… and it won’t be my last!  This time I lengthened the pattern by an inch (2.5cm).

Now might be the time to confess that after a little laundry incident last week, the white is more of a peach colour these days… I think I might even love this top a little bit more now.  It’s not often that a laundry accident ends in your favour!
