And the winner is…

And the winner of the Sweet Dress Book is…
The lovely Amanda from Bimble and Pimble who I had the pleasure of meeting earlier this month. Have you seen Amanda’s Tiki Dress? Oh my, it was an epic battle, but Amanda came up trumps. It’s simply stunning. And I’m still laughing at her tiki dress robot dancing… the girl is crazy awesome!
Thanks for all the blog and real life (yep that’s just happened too!) birthday wishes and your lovely comments. I was a little overwhelmed, but oh so pleased, to hear that you enjoy reading my little slice of blogland.
What’s next for Blogless Anna? Well there hasn’t been a lot of sewing happening, but lots of navel gazing (ie. thinking, planning and reassessing). With regards to my selfish sewing, I’m aiming for less is more, so there might be less items made and less blogging, but what is made will be very targeted. I’m hoping to fill gaps in my wardrobe and ensure that style-wise I stay on track. I’m also hoping for a little stash busting… but I’m not holding my breathe on that one!
Have I mentioned that there will be epic house move before the end of the year? It’s all very exciting (and a little daunting) as we’ll be moving back into our family home which has undergone a major 15 month rebuild. I think a week or two before the move I’m going to send my sewing machine and overlocker for servicing so I can’t be tempted. When my machines are back, I’m very much looking forward to claiming a large chuck on the ‘study’ as my sewing room. Actually, my husband is already referring to the space as my sewing room…
Yippee!
And how exciting about the move back it- sounds like some adventure filled months for you ahead. YAY!
I think it will be a busy but exciting end to the year. Bring it on!
A birthday, a newly renovated home AND a sewing room! Lovely news. Congratulations on the blog. Always an enjoyable read.
I’m a very lucky girl!
Happy birthday! I’m sorry in tardy; hope you had a wonderful one. Exciting news, moving back into your home! Good luck!
Thanks Oanh. No excuses for tardiness required 🙂
Our architect changed “the study” to “the sewing room” on our house plans… Cheeky!
A belated happy birthday! Thank so much for your help on the pattern testing. Good luck with the move – great strategy idea to get the sewing machines serviced……..
