Bento tee on repeat

Have you ever finish a make and then rummaged through your stash for more suitable fabric to make another one straight away? Yes, that time! Well, that was exactly how my second Bento Tee was born.
The fabric is a very light-weight cotton knit from the remnant bin at the The Fabric Store. I have two very good sources that tell in the past this print was available in silk.
I made two changes to the pattern. I lowered the neckline by half an inch (just like version one) and I added one and a half inches to the length of the tee.
Should I start a book on how long it will be until I sew another Bento Tee?
Pattern: Liesl + Co’s Bento Tee
Size: Small
Fabric: Cotton knit from The Fabric Store
Alterations: Lowered the neckline by 1/2″ and added 1 1/2″ to the length of the tee.
Accessories: Aqua beads a gift and shoes from Habbot
Photo Location: Hawthorn Library Precinct (eastern suburbs of Melbourne)
I predict three more Bento tees! 😉
Very nice! The silk version of this print has always stumped me and I haven’t yet made anything with mine (I’ve had it nearly three years, yikes!) but it looks lovely on you. If my memory is correct, it’s a Marc Jacobs print.
Another winner. You think this’ll work in a woven?
🙂 Sarak Jo, judging by the number of Aeolians she’s sewn I predict eight more! When Anna’s on a winner… 🙂
Looks great Anna. With the sleeve uncuffed it is very reminiscent of the Lisette Butterick sack dress. I’ve seen some great lengthened Bento Tee dresses. Just a thought… 😉
I’m guessing as many as the number of Scout’s or Aeolians!
What a super-cute top! Everyone could do with a few variations of this in their wardrobe, so don’t feel guilty making another, or six..!
